Parking:
The studio is on the north side of Sunset Boulevard between Curson and Stanley, on the same block as Bonhams auction house. It is the big white storefront with the black door. Parking options include the gated parking lot around the corner on Stanley (text your practitioner to open the gate); two-hour street parking until 6pm on both Stanley and Curson; plentiful meter parking on Sunset and its side streets; and yellow “loading only" parking after 6pm and all day on Sunday.
Cancellation policy:
We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be billed in full.
Forms of payment:
We accept checks, cash, debit cards, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Health Savings Account (HSA) cards and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.
Insurance information and policies:
We accept health insurance. If your PPO insurance company covers acupuncture, we will bill your insurance for you as a courtesy. If you would like to find out the extent to which your insurance plan covers our services, we would be happy to verify your acupuncture benefits for you.
We are an out-of-network provider for most PPO Insurance Plans. Though we are in network with Blue Shield of California, they recently assigned their complementary medicine plans to be a managed by a company called American Specialty Health (ASH) which is a predatory third party organization which makes its income off the work of actual providers. As I am not in network with ASH, I am not permitted to bill Blue Shield, even out of network.
